A diferencia de la compresi\u00f3n neum\u00e1tica intermitente (IPC) y las medias de compresi\u00f3n, la aplicaci\u00f3n de NMES inicia una nueva era en la profilaxis de la TVP.<\/p><p>El dispositivo DVT-A utiliza tecnolog\u00eda de estimulaci\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrica neuromuscular (NMES) para estimular el nervio peroneo com\u00fan. Este dispositivo estimula el neuromuscular para que se contraiga de forma continua y r\u00edtmica, promueve la flexi\u00f3n de la articulaci\u00f3n del tobillo y permite que los m\u00fasculos bombeen sangre activamente para mejorar el suministro de sangre a las venas, arterias y la microcirculaci\u00f3n de las extremidades inferiores. Al mismo tiempo, el dispositivo NMES tiene un efecto fibrinol\u00edtico y puede tener un efecto sin\u00e9rgico con la heparina.
